Greasing bushings

Hi all, I have OME Nitro shocks on my 90 and the rear passenger shock has a bad squeak that seems to be coming from the top polly bushing. I plan to apply some Kendall superblue all purpose packing grease to the bushing on Saturday. Will this deteriorate the bush prematurely? TIA

I would do it. A new bushing is cheaper than your sanity listening to the squeek & knowing where it is coming from!
With that said, try some high grade RTV spray (silicon spray). It may be kinder to the bushing than some petrolium bases grease.
