You can install those if you replace the pump with the one in the BOM. The LS needs higher fuel pressure than LR EFI. You will need to address the supply and return lines with the changeover valve.

The changeover valve is a Pollak and does the lines & fuel gauge sender units, it's rated at 65psi so should be good. A version is used on the Ford 'F' series trucks with duel tanks if anyone wants to find one in the bone yards.

http://products.pollakaftermarket.co...r-driven-valve

Was searching last night & found this aftermarket replacement pump that'll fit my tank setup :-

http://treperformance.com/i-6317858-...1987-1995.html

So, am thinking that I can swap a pair of those in and save having to use a swirl pot setup. When I get closer I'll order one up & test it out.

I've been talking to Matt @ Rockware about doing this to a 110. If I could find the right one to buy, we'd be rolling on it. I'll be looking at a aluminum block, Gen IV, auto with an Atlas. Keep the info coming! It looks killer so far.

The LT230 is a really nice T case and you get to keep the stock drive-lines in the stock location why swap to an Atlas?

Fair question. Don't know much about it. I've had two Atlases in the past, so I'm familiar with them. I'm not married to the stock axles so I was planning on 1-tons or 9". Figured I could sell the complete 110 driveline to offset the cost of a much stronger domestic unit so parts are cheap, easy, and plentiful.

Started the pruning of the 5.3's loom using the excellent instructions on lt1swap.com, with using the NV4500 you don't need VSS or the hi/lo inputs and trans wiring. Makes for a very simple loom once done... Nice for fault finding if ever I need to

When using the truck plenum reversed, the loom still has to enter on the drivers side of he engine. So, the IAC & TPS connectors will need to be extended about 10". This also makes it possible to use the GM throttle cable if you salvage a throttle pedal to use the end of it on the LR one

Christmas day shopping.....

Here are the part numbers for the NV4500 clutch install :

#12557583 - GM Clutch pilot bearing (SKF #6302VSP43)
#11569956 - GM Flywheel bolts x 6
#12561465 - GM Clutch cover bolts x 6
NFW1050 - Sachs 4.8/6.0 flywheel (doesn't need a spacer)
#TBC - Sachs 10 spline, 11" clutch kit for SBC

This should work with an OE bell housing or the Advance Adaptors one (from what I've read over multiple sites)

Ended up ordering a LuK clutch kit #04-049 (as per AA sell in their kit), same spec as the Sachs #K5552-03 but was cheaper including delivery etc.

First half (literally) of my Behemoth underdrive arrived today, very pleased with the quality of the machining. More parts due next week... Can't wait to start getting my drive line in the truck, then the 5.3

Got the old engine mount zipped off & the new ones tacked in ready for trial install as soon as I get my head bolts & Camaro water pump.

Flipped the hi/lo lever around on the LT230 to make the cable shifters fit better.

Dry assembly of the Goat Build PS pump & Alt mounts, might need to do a few mods for the Camaro water pump.... will see.

Seem to have gained an extra pedal !

All for now !

Just enough clearence for the oil pan to the 3 link but will prob swap it out for a Camero one once things are up & running. Will be ok for the time being.
