I didn't see it at their SEMA booth. All of the aftermarket are slow to produce anything for the 6 speed because 4 speeds are so inexpensive and popular in the aftermarket.

Wow a little demanding for a new member aren't you? Mike told me he got busy with some other projects but will be getting to work on it in the new year.

The new (custom) LR shifter cables arrived. Now on to the bracket and lever.

Cable

Nick,

Will this work with the RR shifter or only the lokar shifter?

These are for the stock shifter on RRC, D1, D90. The Lokar shifter comes with a cable.

revising my earlier statement about pro flex hoses which will start to weep after 2-3 years of use due to ethanol breaking down the rubber.

Been advised to only use teflon stainless steel braided hose like this and only for short lengths where the line needs to bend. Otherwise all lines will be 3/8 hard lines.

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/p...onHose#reviews

Also been advised to pressure test all an fittings when making up your hoses. cheap insurance.

anyone interested can pm and ill give you a breakdown of the fittings we are going to use.

Got to love it when a plan comes together!
Who built that radiator.

Could you have fitted larger fans or a fan shroud?

Custom Aluminum Radiator

12" won't fit. 11" are the largest we can use on this radiator(Defender). The RRC/D1 radiator can take 12" fans.

No room for a shroud. Just clears the water pump pulley.

I actually like it. I wonder if you could mount on a R380/LT77 tunnel and extend the top part. I think the end result wouldn't look far off from a normal R380 with an alloy knob.

playing around with some junkyard parts. Pontiac G8 shifter and DiscoII console. kind of like it better than the lokar.

Lift it up to be flush on a mount & a nice powder coated/textured trim panel to fill the gap & it'd look sic... Prob work out cheaper too
