My adapter is winging its way over to OZ so will be starting my conversion in the next week or two! I will probably start a new build thread so as not to congest this one to much. It will start with converting a 2WD box to 4WD as that's all we can realistically get over here...

Man...figure out how to mate that with the o.e. 97 console & shifter and I'm in. This Turner 4.6 is quite the disappointment.

Nick has already figured out how do that! I'm actually waiting for his custom cable and bracket to run that exact set up.

You can use the stock a/c compressor on LHD.

I realize that now, unfortunately I chucked the bracket & compressor in the scrap truck & it's been crushed now..... My bad

Looking at that GB setup I think that'll work better for me. Anyone want to swap an OE A/C pump & bracket for a set of Nic's acc drive brackets ?

Seeing the shiny red and black brakes on that truck, are there any sensible brake upgrades that people are installing to help stop the damn thing once it gets going? If using LR stuff then part numbers always help. I am also assuming that we are all starting from discs all round

Cheers,

James.
