Looking for the backing plate and blade fuse box as well for a friend with an older 110 with glass fuses. Can someone let me know how to get in contact with the Brian identified above or where else I can get them in the US? Thanks! :thumb:
FWIW, you might consider shopping across the pond for this stuff. This place has treated me well recently and shipping is fast. Welcome to Auto Electric Supplies Plus with these little terminals it's better to have too many than not enough. I also second the recommendation on the ratcheting crimpers.
Personally I haven't had any issues doubling up wires on these specific connectors if you're using a 16-awg (or 14) wire smaller. 14 is a slightly tighter squeeze, but was not an issue for me.
You should be able to get blade fuses in 7.5a, I'd try those first. I would expect that to work but if it doesn't I wouldn't worry too much about going to 10a as there should be enough safety margin in the circuit design to handle an additional 2a... :thumb:
Seems like this is rarely covered; but I guess worst case is a blown fuse
