I have decided to give this ago myself. Are the fuse blocks and crimping tool available in the US?
If so where from?

Thanks
Mark

FYI, I carry the crimp ends for a bit cheaper (1/2) than what Doug posted above....$2 / 10-pack (they are the same ones that are used in the back of the Carling multiplug....which is why I've got them):

I have/use the exact same crimping tool that Doug posted, and it's the Bee'a Knees / Cat's Pajamas.

You should be able to get blade fuses in 7.5a, I'd try those first. I would expect that to work but if it doesn't I wouldn't worry too much about going to 10a as there should be enough safety margin in the circuit design to handle an additional 2a... :thumb:
