gearbox removal question

hi guys! so i am getting a new gear box from ashcroft along with a new t-case input gear. i almost have my current one out, i have started working from the back to the front. when i unbolt the bell housing, the input shaft "simply" (rover terms of course!) comes out of the clutch leaving the clutch bolted to the flywheel correct? the truck had a new clutch and slave installed when i bought it 30k miles ago so if i dont need to remove the slave etc. would be great. as usual, thanks!

slave and clutch and clutch plate can stay bolted up.

smear a little bit of grease on the input shafts when sliding them back in. makes it a little easier plus protects it from water contamination.
