fun new problem

My interior lights stopped working. Unless I press the horn, then they go on. Or I try to use the brights then the interior lights go on as well.

Sounds like a similar problem I'm having. I recently experienced an inability to start my rig and found this to be a blown fuse caused by a rusty old brake light. I've put an order in to Rovers North for replacement connectors (completely rusted) but in the meantime, I'm plagued with the loss of interior lights. They come on when I apply the brake. Until I fix the brake light connectors and replace the bulb to complete the circuit, this will continue to be a problem. I add that I have no understanding of electrics with the exception of new-found knowledge gained by an extremely helpful bunch of knowledgeable fellas here at D-90.

Yeah, I'm thinking solar flares are finally causing some problems.

he couldn't turn the lights on and that prevented him from shifting gear ?
