Fuel Tanks for LR 90

Hey I have a 90 and want to increase my onboard fuel capacity. I have a 12gal tank under the drivers seat and a battery box under the passenger's seat. Nothing is under the rear bed and i was wondering if there is a tank that will fit under there which i can plumb into the system.

I know there is the NAS tank but those are $$$

Would a 110 tank fit with some home brew brackets?

Thanks for the help

How much diesel fuel were you storing on your coat at romp? It could probably hold a little more, then just run the truck on the coat's fumes when you get low.

The 110 tank is two large.

Different options....

1) Safari Equip: http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/ Various options for bolt in tanks.

2) Standard Defender rear tank. Used in late 300TDI and newer trucks. Cheap used in the UK. Requires some modifications to the frame.

3) Jeep Wrangler tank. Certain models of tanks, I think from YJs will fit. You need to work out custom mounting.

4) Make your own. This is what I did. 63 liters, clears everything off road and you can drop the truck on it.

Both of these options are NOT bolt in. They require trimming of the rear crossmember and custom mount fabrication. So unless you get it CHEAP, it does not make sense and you might as well get a bolt in option like the Safari-Equip one.
