Fuel Tank Skid Plate

Hey there,

I decided to build a Fuel Tank Skid Plate to my D110.
Does anyone here have a sketch or maybe a drawing of such kind?
I'm thinking of one made from Al5052, any suggestions?

thanks all.

Gali.

Can you take the stock one off and get measurements off of it? You can leave the gas tank in just hold it up with a reatchet strap.

Or I could sell you my old one for cheap...

If it doesn't work out, you can go see Dave Lucas at slickrockfabrication.com because he's made a real nice one for defenders... only it's stainless. took no time to put in.

just my 2 bits...

The one that I wish to bend from aluminum won't face the current plane & won't be bolted at the original bolts.

I need an aftermarket designed plate. Most of the guys here use those also at the D90.

But thanks for the idea.

Gali,

You might want to keep in mind that the 110 here is rare and most aftermarket skid plates solve the problem for most people.
