OK, I'm sure I'm not the first person to run into this problem, but I've searched and searched and I don't know what to do.
As I've moved on to the fuel system portion of my mechanical restoration, I noticed that the sedimentor was a total disaster. So I went ahead and bought a new sedimentor. However, while attempting to remove the fuel lines from the old sedimentor, they are stuck solid...its going to be pretty hard to get the fittings off the sedimentor without damaging them at best, and completely destroying them at worst.
In anticipation of probably having to replace the damn things, I started pricing out the fuel lines. Specifically:
1. NTC4601: Pipe, Fuel-tank to sedimentor, around $100 and reasonably available.
2. NRC8923: Pipe, Fuel-sedimentor to lift pump, NO LONGER AVAILABLE
PROBLEM: I am unable to locate NRC8923 anywhere in the world. Rimmerbros are the only folks who even list it on their site, but its out of stock and I'm not optimistic they actually can get it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
