hmm, check the connections on the back of it, they may be loose. If not swap with someone who has a good gauge to make sure your gauge is really bad, we did exactly this at Raush Creek on a wheeling trip when Ken's gauge would never show above 3/4 with a full tank. His gauge worked fine in my 90.
