front wings

First, my apologies to Landy_Andy for stealing his pic from the "for sale" section.
I need to replace some body panels on my D90. Part B is ok but need to switch out A. Is the front bezel panel just simply bolted on to B and C? Are there a bunch of rivets I need to drill out? If so, what size do I need to put it all back together? From the pic it seems like a combination of rivets and bolts. I haven't taken apart my front end yet, thought I'd first get an idea of what I'm up against, and also have the replacement part ordered, painted and ready to install.

If by "front bezel panel" you mean "A", then:
1. It is bolted to B
2. It is spot welded to C

Also, the "A" is composed of three parts. There are two that you do not see in the picture. One is the headlight mount panel, which is spot welded to the inside of "A", as well as an angled aluminum "lip" panel which is also welded to the inside of "A" (and is used to bolt to the spats.

There are two rivets IIRC, and many spot welds. You will need a spot weld drill.

Replace all spot welds with standard rivets.

There are three bolts holding the parts "A" and "B" together.

Above answers it all well.

Easy to do, trickier to to neatly (i did one and it looked like a bit of a car crash, although the truck wasn't exactly a Bentley so it didn't matter)

If you know someone with a spot welder you could get it back to factory standard.
