Looks great - nice truck!

What is the flat thing running under the length of the front of the rack? Wind deflector?

These are different than the mount legs on my Slimline I mounts. What goes on inside the "block" ?

Just found this on the new style mounting legs.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to assemble and install?

I'd be very curious to know if this new style legs will clear the NAS roll cage.

Maybe 2-3 hours I did it by myself and lifted on the truck by myself so I did not attach the legs until it was already on top.

Carl, Do you mean on a NAS 110 or a NAS 90 ?

Those legs will in no way fit behind the roll bar on the 90, they'd be fine on the 2 rear positions. That new block assembly is way to bulky to go between the bar and roof.

I ended up getting a set of front legs for the LR3/4 & trimming off about 1/2" & welding the mounting base to a 1-3/4" tube clamp. Front Runner sent me the LRlegs, no charge.

Very interested in one of these for my new (aka old) Defender 110.

What is the height from the roof of the truck to the high point of the rack?

Reason I am asking is because the truck is 78.5" and our garage has 84" clearance....

Thabks for any info!

I had the same question. I believe it is 3 1/8 inches. I have my rack arriving next week.

As long as you got the unit with the standard height legs (they make a tall set so you can hang things off the bottom of the rack & between the roof), you should be fine. With stuff on the rack, I'd be very careful

The tall rack adds ~10cm (4") over the roof height or 30cm above the gutter.

The reason the roof-height is ~ is that roofs above rail height varies by gutter fill, condition, shape, while the height from the gutter to the rack top is only +/- 3mm via assembly differences.

I did - have been meaning to post some photos but have been traveling. Rack is installed, am planning to install the ladder tomorrow. Is a great roof rack - looks great, is as solid as a rock and a great investment.

Finally got around to fitting the slimline rack and modifying the Hannibal tent so it works with the rack. Is a great rack. I plan to get the front and half side rails next. Luckily it also fits in the garage with the tent on top.
