On some of my cars I will NOT drill into the front bumper.

Go to OfficeMax. Have them "scan" your license plate and print it (to same dimensions) on high quality stock paper and then have it laminated. Have them print 3 or 4.

Take velcro and stick to it and bumper. You are done.

NEVER got pulled over. And NEVER had a ticket for front plate. And I live in nazi-parking-hell-chicago!

If you don't want to run with it, pull it off and stick in your cubby.

I HATE front plates.

Is the Genuine bracket made of metal? I have one that is a simple metal plate that bolts on to the bumper and has 4 hoels to mount a tag. It has a foam strip on the back for cushioning against the bumper. Is ths the OEM part?

I have that holding vanity plates under the fair lead on the SG bumper. It sticks like a champ but it would be too easy for someone to walk off with your personalized plate with as many people who check out these rigs. Luckily, people probably don't realize it's held on by magnets.
