is installing a front DII double cardan driveshaft on my NAS 110 as simple as swapping the LT230 front output flange with a DII and bolt it on, or is there more to it? Can't find anything conclusive that gets in the details.
What size is the flange bolt? Asking since I don't have any large sockets.
Talk about perfect timing, when I moved somehow I lost my front shaft. Worried about shelling out a grand for a new one. Are they titanium or something?
No, new ones are just silly expensive. Front d90 shafts are the same as front DI and 87-88 RRC shafts so used are cheap or you can swap the flange and put on a rebuild DII shaft with greasable nipples.
They had one on the diff end, not the gearbox end. You can rebuild them for < $60 in parts though.

Yeah that would be great. PM me and I'll get you some money.
