front +2" shock question

So looking to do +2 shock towers in the front of my 110 but unsure what shock to pair up with that. Brands aside what length shock either in terms of travel or compressed/extended lengths will work??

Thanks!

What are +2" towers exactly? Are they 2" taller, or shorter? Do you have a lift?
Lift springs, tire size, bumpstops will all play a role in determining shock length. I would recommend doing all other mods first, then determine shock length and if different towers are needed. Also take into account that radius arms will bind and that you may not be able to utilize a ton of downtravel.

Sorry I have a 2" lift in the front and +2 towers are 2" taller than stock towers, all the rest is done In terms of radius arms etc. I'm trying to nail down the shock length ahead of time to eliminate down time with the truck.

If everything else is done but shocks the best thing to do would be to whip out the tape measure. Measure your shock length at rest. Then unbolt the upper shocks stems from the tower and flex the suspension. Take measurements at full compression and max extension. These measurements will give you hard numbers for shock shopping. See where you're at, what shocks will work, and if going to +2" towers is necessary.

FWIW, I run 11" Fox 2.0's up front. 3" RTE springs, D2 shock towers, and custom lower adapters. Perfect fit.

john (red90) has specs for stock shocks on his page. add 2 inches compressed length for the longer shock towers and whatever for longer bump stops.
