frame bowing??

This may be an optical illusion but it seems the frame of my 110 is bowing slightly in the center... It has quite a few dents on the frame from varous encounters with rocks but is there a good way to measure at home to give me piece of mind? No cracks that are visible.

Is the center portion of the frame between where the radius/trailing arms mount supposed to be dead straight?

It has had a hard life so it is not out of the question...

A good body shop could help you test it. But, if you are not having any adverse issues with the truck that a bent frame could cause, I wouldn't care. My frame is all twisted up, but I just stopped caring.

Not sure really. Unfixable allignment issues, wierd tire wear after the wheels have been balanced. Sheared or bent body bolts, mody mount failures. I am guessing really as the Defender is odd with its AL body that flexes and absorbs so much play. Plus, most of these things only happen if the frame is seriously bent! But yes, all rovers have issues
