Fold down tailgate bracket ?

Can someone with a drop down tailgate measure the mounting holes for the tub bracket, need to drill the holes in my tub for the brackets.

Hey dave

What do the brackets that you have on the tailgate side look like? Ive got a set of NTO cables to replace my chains and need to see if Im missing any parts.

Help a brother out?

Tony, just looking where to drill the 2 holes on each side of the tub to mount the brackets. Can post pics later today

Dave I couldn't do it until Tuesday and it would be on a 109 tub but I could show you where the stock holes are on it. But they are for the chain style and I really think you should just position it to hold the tailgate level with your current length cables, or put it wherever you like and adjust the cable length to suit

Just took some measurements off of my Td5 tub:


6" (15cm approx) up from the floor to the bottom of the bracket.


1/2" (12mm or so) from the inner edge of the bit that the rear door seal fits onto, to the edge of the bracket.
