Fluids

Have what I think is a 200tdi from a disco, 5 SPF manual and not sure on the transfer case. The truck is new to me so the first thing I want to do is change all the fluid. Can some one itemize a quick list of oil for the diesel, and what fluids are recommended for the trans, transfer case and the axles. Please and thank you!

You'll probably get a bunch of different opinions on this... but here's a good place to start: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=35544

I am using Royal Purple synthetic in diff & transfer 75w90. Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic motor oil. I have an auto so haven't touched the trans.

Don't forget to lube the joints.

I use MTF 94 as per the Haynes manual. I get it from the Mini Cooper Dealership. If you go bring a container. They charge me about 40 bucks and I get a free car wash. Every customer gets a car wash at our Mini Dealer.
