Flexi flare install?

Has anyone installed the larger flexi flares like these:
http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=14

I had asked Justin about them and he couldnt remember how they installed.

Do you leave the old fronts on and trim them back or what? If you remove them wont there be a gap between the outer fender and the wheel well?

That's correct. The instructions that ship with the flexis do not mention what to do with the gap.

For my install, I plan to use some abs plastic cut to shape. I'd rather sell my old flares to somebody rather than cut them apart.

Use the old flares & trim them back so you just have an inner arch mud shield. Or get a real ratty pair & use them for the mud shields.... then sell the good ones on.

If anyone decides to sell their original matte fender flares please contact me. I've been searching for a right front for ages. Thanks
