Fixing a stock Clarion Radio Display

Thought I would share / document this as it may help somone in the future.

I fixed the worn out display on my stock clarion radio yesterday. I had an extra stock radio that had a good display but quit working 5 years or so ago. I just switched the faces.

Process as follows:
Remove the volume knob pull it off
Pull up 2 tabs up on right side with fingernail.
Pull 1 tab up on left with fingernail
Wiggle off the radio face
Do the same on donor radio
Press donor radio face on old radio.
The code is stored in the radio body, so it did not change.

I can actually tell what radio station is

I got the donor radio from Tisdale about 9 years ago ; I could sense him smiling yesterday.
