Fitting a winch

Hi

I'm thinking of getting a winch for my D-90 it's an auto with the transmission cooler in the stock position, most of the winch kits I've seen appear to seriously block the flow of air to the cooler. Has any one here experienced any problems with their gearbox oil overheating as a result of fitting a winch?

Or am I just worrying about nothing......

Cheers

Cheers for all the replies.

I'm thinking of getting a Warn 9.5ti & Mantec/Factory style winch bumper combo, does anyone have any experiences with this set up good or bad?

Thanks

Many people here have ARB Bullguards with various winch combo's. I myself have an ARB with a Warn 12,000lb winch and have never had any problems with tranny overheating. Now, I have had problems with everything else in the car, on the car, and/or near the car. So, you may be onto something here.

My set up is with the Rockware bumper and S9000 superwinch which has a pretty high & flat profile.
I've been running this set up for over three years now, no overheating problems. I doubt that the winch install is culprit to overheating.
