This was a fiberglass door?

Was it in USA or over seas?

Oh yeah, and what Kolton asked. How do they fit?
Thanks!
I think I stretched their shipping experience a little. Hopefully they have shipped more here now.
The order had two BH, top windows and doors.
Each item was extremely well packaged in a well made wooden container and shipped by air. Yes they are series doors.
We just finished off the customer truck and shipped it. Working on my truck build now. At last! Shipping costs made it slightly more expensive than say a td5 BH before the cost of modifying is factored in.

I spoke to Mike at AMAservices he said the second row doors should be ready sometime in December, and said that if we order at the same time and they are shipped together we can save quite a bit on the shipping to the US. So, anyone interested in a group buy?

I am getting all four doors myself. I'll post as soon as they are ready. He also said that as soon as the second row doors are ready he is going to starting molds for the lift up handle style doors!

Two things jump out at me when I see that video. One, they are clearly not vacuum bagging these as there are voids showing up after the hammer blows. Vacuum bagging would not only eliminate the voids, it would increase the strength by about 20%. Second, there IS damage being done. You just cant see it. Below the surface of the impact, all the glass fibers have shattered, leaving a weak spot. This probably isn't a huge thing on a door panel, but to say that there isn't any damage is just not so. It can go unnoticed until the effects of time reveal the stress cracks in the gel coat.
Fortunately, that kind of thing is easily repaired. You just feather out the damaged area, lay in glass and resin, sand it and paint it.

Would you see that damage from the reverse view?

Not hands on, but regrets that I didn't buy them, at least for the Series doors (without keyhole) I replaced. The fiberglass door maker and I exchanged a couple of emails but I went with Britpart doors primarily due to shipping cost.

After returning one Britpart door to SafariHP due to damage (but no obvious packaging damage), aboth doors still needed "tweaking" to flatten corners and touch up th primer. And after I had them painted I noticed the other door had a keyhole. Painting also revealed a lot of minor dents not visible when the doors were coated only with a flat primer.

If I were to do it again, I'd go with the fiberglass doors. I also probably won't be ordering again from SafariHP any time soon.

The Britpart doors look like crap.
