Anyone with the Gems 4.6 run the non-genuine Stepper? No, I'm not pulling code 48 because I know I'm obd2. It should be the same as the '97 D 4.0L. I have an oem in my stash of parts, but I forgot which stash in which state (I know, first world problems)!

It kills me to buy another when I know I'll just find it the second I install the replacement. Would love to try the cross referenced cheap alternative from the auto parts store.

I don't think the one I'm looking for has been referenced yet in the stepper threads as all were referencing the 3.9L: (I did look before posting)

Any info is much appreciated! TIA

All the best-Dave
