So a few weeks ago someone ask for a picture of a v-belt fan clutch. I offered pictures of mine but as it turns out, mine is on wrong.
Or is it? My clutch is on backwards so the fan ended up being in front and not behind the fan clutch. If you look at the last 2 pics, the fan can only go on one side of the clutch, will not fit on the other side. They just flipped the fan to make the air flow in the right direction.
Can someone tell me if mine is on wrong? If it is on wrong, did they do it on purpose or is it just a mistake? The way it is set up right now, the fan is placed further into the shroud. Could this be a reason? To pull more air? Just curious, thanks!
