Factory stereo wiring diagram???

Can anyone tell me what each color-coded stereo wire goes to on a 94 D-90? I could figure it out but if anyone knows I won't have to reinvent the wheel when wiring the new stereo. I've removed the wires at the radio in order to keep the factory radio-to-wiring harness quick release connections and to add some length to the wires.

Thanks -

I got my alpine via crutchfield. They included a do it yourself harness kit so you can plug right into the truck. Crutchfield has surprisingly good prices.

Yeah you have to reverse two wires as per the instructions so it has power all the time (keep radio stations) but the instructions say it. Actually I think it says to do it if you have a Saab. For whatever reason you need to do it in the 90 too.

On the Saab thing... I noticed today when removing the factory radio it said Saab-Scania on the back of it. Apparently Land Rover used Saab radios in the D-90?

Thanks again -

Interesting, never noticed that on my stock radio but now it all makes sense.

Let me know if you don't get it sorted. I re-wired my D90 last year and should still have the diagrams around. I also used an adapter but I think I ordered mine from sonic electronics. I can check on which model I used though I seem to recall it was a VW/Audi type.

Cheers,

CARL

X2,

I used the one for Audi/VW, for several Rovers. No need to reverse any wire on 95 or ROW
