So I want/need to upgrade the front brakes on my '83 110. I believe the British redneck that built my truck installed RR axles, likely pre-92ish. The calipers are definetly single-piston, with the pads held in with springs and clips. The rotors are junk.
Anyhoo, I want to install dual piston calipers and vented rotors, any idea how to tell the year of my brake stuff? Looks like the newer brake stuff came at the 1986 year. I guess I am most concerned with whether the caliper bolt holes line up.
I know, very vague...
Update: so according to the RN website (http://www.roversnorth.com/store/c-156-front-axle.aspx
) I have early D90 up to 1989 brake pads. So can I upgrade to larger calipers and vented rotors?
