Extended Length Clutch rubber line?

Anyone put a body lift on their 5-speed and replaced the clutch flexible line with a longer one?

No, but on a similar truck I used a stock front brake line hose.

Are you saying the clutch and front brake flex lines have the same ends? I'm asking because I'm at work and can't look at mine at the moment.

Yes,

But it was not a D90, it was a disco and I used a D90 front line. I am about 99% sure they are the same so you could just use an extended front D90 brake line and it would be as long as you could possibly want.

I replaced the entire length of the clutch line with one SS braided -4 line instead of using the 3 piece system that Rover does. One thing that was suggested to me when I was doing it was that brake line is -3 and not big enough for a clutch system.

Ron, actually it's on my Disco I need the longer line. I looked at my Defender last night at see that the front brake line looks like it's the same. At the caliper there's a double ended male adaptor, so I'll order a front brake hose.

Mike, I haven't had any issues that made me feel like the size of the line was a problem, that's with about 210k on the vehicle. Of course, maybe ignorance is bliss. lol

Thanks for the replies.

I ended up finding a place about 3 miles from my house that makes lines pretty much of any kind, any length. I got a SS line made to go from the master cyl to the the slave. It was $40.
