If your bump stops are good, try the red neck piece of 2x4 as a spacer

When you say spacers do you mean bump stop spacers or more spring spacer?

You've got to do bump stops. I skipped that part and had a spring spit out of my disco and trashed a tire as a result. Now I've got he floflex extended bumpstops AND the terra firma drop spacers to keep the 35"s out of the fenders. I can now pull the springs and ride on the bumps p38 style.

I was talking about spacers for the bump stops. I've got a set of +2 shocks, and when I had the rear springs out it seems like they'll just barely fit. I don't want to risk it, so I figure I should do something.

I'd throw those TF spacers on, they are cheap and easily removed if you want to restore it later. Maybe paint them black so they look less out of place on the truck. I wasn't too concerned about that on my disco

My 90 isn't really collectable. It's pretty beat up. Not much rust though. So I doubt I'd worry about restoring it back to stock.

Another option is going with jounce bumpers... Or shock shaft bump stops in lay and terms ... Guys on pirate swear by them but you have to have your shocks tuned to your lift in order to have them replace your bumps... It's the way I'm going...
