Expansion tank leaking..

My expansion tank started leaking from the seam yesterday. I was towing a trailer over a summit and it started to get warm, I checked it out and coolant was seeping out of the crack.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket option? Aluminum and stronger mabye?

Cheers

Let me guess, your resevoir is black? Those are known bad parts, and have been superceded by a newer design, which is semi-translucent white. Just order up one of those, they arent too expensive.

Not black, I have the newer whiteish one, still broke. I was looking at an OE replacement...although I would like to look in to a more burly replacement.. I think I am going to see if Summit Racing has a generic that will fit. Allisport makes them but I doubt I can find one on thsi side of the pond.
