Exmoor Seat Fabric for a ST

I have been talking a bit with Scott @ SafariHP about some Exmoor stuff. Thinking of just biting the bullet and getting new retrim kits for a snotty pair of Defender seats I have in the garage and swapping the inward facing seats in the back with a pair of forward facing fold-ups.

Anyway, the hard part for me seems to be going with fabric. Which one should I go with on a NAS ST:

- Denim Twill Vinyl
- G4
- XS (half leather/half vinyl)

I am kinda of leaning towards the G4 as the price isn't that much more and it looks good in the few pics I've been able to find. But a little worried about the fabric being hot as hell in the summer.

The XS looks sweet - and I am a sucker for leather interiors but will it get destroyed in a ST. Don't want to pay extra for it and have it done in a year.

Or just keep it close to stock with the Denim. I haven't been able to find any good pics of it. Is it grey with black sides or all grey?

Thanks in advance especially if you have any pics!

Exmoor has a new seat fabric line that is water repellent. I'd go with that one (can't remember the name right now)

I recently installed outlast material from exmoor trim (which is water resistant and tough as nails). I would totally recommend this product an the seat warmers makes it the perfect seat for any ass. I'll posted some pictures here in a few.

X2 on the outlast. Fantastic seat trim. With new foams there is a world of difference.

Didn't even know about the Outlast fabric. Thanks for the recommendation. Will look into it.

Although I popped one of the old Defender seats in today and drove around and realized the Corbeau's are so much more comfortable for my big ass and shot back. Might make it a little easier and get the forward facing Exmoors in grey vinyl and get the driver side Corbeau reupholstered as its a little tatty and the foam is blown out. They are more of a bitch to get in and out but feel great once I am in there.

I love my XS retrim I did last spring. For pics I piggybacked on this thread earlier: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=39778.

I love the way they look and feel. I've been a little anxious about the middle section wearing a little fast than normal, but they haven't aged at all in the last 6 mos... I should also drive it more often.

My view is badgers in summer, sheepskin in winter, and whatever is under I want cheap and durable.

I've got the G4 trim on my Exmoor front seats as well as the fold and gos in the rear. The fabric does get a little toasty in the hot sun but nothing a beach towel can't take care of.
