Correct, they do not come with a reverse switch or light. The wiring from the front to the back is there. But the lead from the switch to the main harness is missing.
Alright so once I connect the wires to the reverse switch where would I connect the other end with the 2 bullet connectors? Would it be towards the rear right hand side?
Wondering how you made out as I am attempting the same. I have the switch in the transmission and it works. Just can find the 2 wires that connect to it or understand how to wire them myself into main harness.
Read this thread. And then look at the wiring schematic. I posted a link to the missing wiring if you want to buy it. It run from the switch to the harness connector on the bulkhead.
There are no wires just sitting by the tranny, you have to run two wires from the main harness to the switch. I forgot if they were located inside near the fuse box. I don't have that car anymore to check.
