exhaust manifold leak

so i am going tomorrow to check out a 95 90. The owner claims shes mint except when she went for service the Land Rover guy said she had a slight exhaust leak until she warmed up.The machanic said its no big deal and they all due that. sound like a little BS to me. However if its just a gasket it wouldn't be a real big deal a couple of beers and a wrench couldn"t cure

Just be careful that the leak isn't from a cracked exhaust manifold. Sometimes they crack just above the bottom flange where they connect to the y-pipe. If it is that, it'll take a bit more than just a new gasket but it can still be repaired.
