ESR2309 replacement? 300Tdi intercooler top hose

Anyone using a replacement for this hose? No way I'm paying RN $70+ for it!

It's the top hose from the intercooler to intake for 300Tdi

Although I did just installed silicone hoses. For the last 5 years I fitted a section of exhaust tube I had bent at a local shop for $10. and just used two 2" strip of rubber hose and 4 clamps to fit it. Works great! That is actually the preferred style in the ROW for 300tdi's. LR had a issue for a while where the hose would fail and get sucked into the turbo.

Cheap and great long term fix. I still carry it as a spare.

so, LR turbo's suck?

Get the silicone hose kit that AB is selling. More $$ but good upgrade.
