Engine turns over when shutting off

Every so often (2x now) when turning off my truck the engine will turn over just after I turn her off. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Thanks

As in, you turn the key to the off position ready to pull it out, and the engine will spin over?

Sounds like the ignition switch to me.

Yes that is what happens. Is there a fix besides new ignition? Is it just sticking, I was told by someone to spray a little WD into it.

Thanks

If you're going to spray it, use some lock lube spray. Ace hardware carries it last I checked.

Don't think that'll work, as the "switch" part of the lock is just screwed onto the back of the actual lock barrel piece with a couple of small screws... so the "switch" bit doesn't get any of the barrel/key parts in it.

It sounds like one of the terminals on the switch has either come loose, or is just touching (or nearly touching) and making the engine turn over.
