Engine / Trans / Transfer combo for 68 SII

Hey guys.
I'm going to switch out my 2.25 to something more modern. (motor is shot)
Do any of you know a trusted engine swap with mated transmission and transfer case that works?
Thanks

I am setting up a 2.5 NAD mated to stock S-IIa gearbox for mine, but have seen many run the 2.5NAD/LT77/LT230 in a Series, but you have to modify mounts I believe.

I am totally open to the replacement engine. Gas, not diesel. Straight 6, V6 or V8 if it will fit. Could be Ford, Chevy, Jeep... Would prefer to use SIIa (existing) transfer case if possible. This is not an 'originality' example.
I want it to be simple and reliable with the ability for some freeway use.

I have a couple of project motors you could work on. They are both 3.0 liter GM I-4 engines. Both have issues. Wanna go 80+mph in your series truck these are the way to go. Complete drop-ins with full custom exhaust, parts list and even instructions and phone support. I got tired of them and got a good deal on a Tdi, so they are sitting here collecting dust.

PM for details if interested.
