Engine swap

Thinking about swapping my stock 2.25 diesel to a 300 tdi and was wondering how hard of a process is this? I have a 83 defender all stock with lt77, would I need to replace all of that stuff also?

Pretty much.

Lots of stuff to change, motor mounts, trans, tons of misc. Its not hard per se, but not just a bolt-on job.

If you want to collect some needed parts I can send you the bellhousing, adapter plate, clutch, flywheel and pressure pipe to the slave cylinder.
Where in Germany are you living?
