Start with a good 3.9 block, get a 4.8 stroker kit. More umph than a 4.6 without the hassle of swaping to a distributor-less engine. 4.6 blocks were more prone to porous block than the 3.9.

i've never heard of a 4.8 stroker kit, do you have a link?
