Both are the latest kits I bought from glens garage. I have them set up to run a Ford 302 in fuel only but do have a daughter card for spark too. Was going to go with wasted spark on the 302 but ended up throwing a carb on it just to get the boat going. So they sit ( have two engines for a 28 foot jet boat project that fizzled, thus two MS )

advanced adapters

I have heard from a few that advanced adapters has not come through on timing of any promised adapters to the LT230 so not sure how reliable of a source that will be (don't hold your breath).

I have a OM617 in my 109 and I really like it , Hard to get a better diesel for the money .

My 110 im going with a mild built 4.2 running the CUX-14 system backed by a LT85 trans with the 1.410 LT230 and running 35" tires . This isn't the best motor, but an easy fit into the 110 using the computer harness from the LWB RRC . I had thought about the chevy option but decided against it due to adapters to keep the manual transmission. But if you wait awhile longer Advanced Adapters will have a LT230 adapter to most things american and 23 spline as I recall .

Good luck on your decision

It would just devolve into a beer bash.

I have doubts on if more than half of the modified engine trucks would make it to the venue...

Not sure about interior shifter configuration. Maybe someone else on here knows how to mount the shifter so that it doesn't end up on the seatbox.
Nice interior look.
Guess the fuse box is under the seat like the later Defenders cause it can't be located where the early ones go with that nice looking center console.

I'll add that I was given Matt's contact info and sent him an email about doing a custom adapter/coupler for my EV project and never got a reply. I can only assume he got it, but who knows. On the other hand Eric from Novak was very helpful and responsive to a general email request via their site. He's a rover guy too, so if I end up going the pro route, Novak will be getting my business.

So its in, and totally worth it. I didn't know the first 50% of the throttle could ever do anything.
