end of axle shaft hole thread size

Would anyone happen to know the size/pitch of the threaded hole in the end of an axe shaft (on a 1984 110)?

I am replacing the drive flanges and the new ones are a tight fit - so much so that I need to pull the axle shaft out a bit to get the circlip back on.

thanks,
charles

Doh, the hole looked smaller so I didn't try (and I was in a rush) - but I will try that, thanks!

Hah! Have only done one and wanted to clean the wheels before taking a bling shot, but I will definitely do so. Hoping to do some more this evening, but time is scarce.

Cad plated steel. Very nice.

I will pick up a set to go with my bling free wheeling hubs.
