EGT kit?

Is there a one-stop shop for getting the EGT gauge and sender? I've tried the search option and I know egauges.com was referenced, but I can't find anything LR specific. I'm trying to find something around 2"...if I have to modify the Raptor Dash instrument panel to fit the gauge that's fine. This would be fitted to a 2.8tgv (guessing the same fitment as a 300tdi). Oh, and digital gauge of course. An alarm would be neato. Thanks for any help gents!

I use the one by Auber Instruments. They sell the probe too.

I've often thought the same question as well. Do they sell one that has the probe setup for the EGR blanking plate?

There is this one from VDO. It has a probe that you can install in the blanking plate by welding on a fitting

Are you happy with that VDO? I will be doing some towing so I was hoping to find something with warning alarm or light

Thanks. I wasn't sure if mine had the actual EGR system. Hood latch is being a prick tonight

I went with Westach, they build airplane instruments & they are reasonably priced. Three parts gauge , 2-1/2" probe, weld in bung.

Another option is the McNally Electronics 2 in one boost/EGT guage they sell all of the above stuff including a blank off plate with the fitting already installed for the probe.

Boost/EGT gauge Combo Kit - McNally Electronics Store

And the guage fits right in place of the clock on a stock dash. I can grab a pic for you later today if you like.

That looks perfect. I only saw the blank off plate for a VW though.

No problem, you will also need one of these to replace the plug on the back of the inlet manifold and insert the boost guage sending unit:

I believe you only need the M12/1.5 fitting so if you can find one of those without having to buy the kit that may be a cheaper option.
