Early Fuel Filler Hose Source

I go to install my fuel filler and low and behold the hose is not going to fit.

I bought the hose over the summer and believe it is NTC2337 part. It is tapered.

I broke out the calipers and got just over 70mm for the tank and the filler neck. One side of NTC2337 fits the other is way too small.

I have been searching for a hose that will fit but no luck. Is it a better move to just buy the newer filler neck - NTC2676? Or is there a source for the older fuel hose?

Good sources I think might help you are Trevor at Rovahfarm and Ike at Pangolin4x4. Might want to try to see if Uncle Doug knows anything and where to source the proper hose.

Get some silicone elbows from CXracing dot com. That's the easiest/cheapest way out of this pickle.

Have a muffler shop build a taper onto the end of the hard-filler segment to fit the soft hose.

I wish I realized this before I sent the piece out to get blasted and powdered - I would have stitched a reducer on there myself.
