early 90/110s ignition key blanks ?

Did the early 90's and 110's use a different key blank for the ignition ? I use to have 5 or 6 blanks from Illco for my '97 D90 but I cant remember the Illco key blank code (and not sure if it would be the same (not spending $40 on a blank just to have a spare

Different to what Chris? AFAIK they've always been the same throughout the years (even from late series 3 onwards). New ones have a funky chunky plastic bit at the end, bit the metal "key" is the same shape.

On a '97 the blank in SILCA is LF10. Dominion Lock is LF15, ILCO is X157 or LF17.

What is the mention of $40 for a blank???

I have keys made up at the local locksmith for a few dollars. It is a common blank to Leyland trucks.

My 1991 truck uses FT style blanks on all doors. The one shown on the RN site is different.

To MA... http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product...20blank&page=1 Despite it saying cubby box, my truck for certain uses that exact key blank on all doors. It has a Leyland logo with "FT" marked on it on one side and "L&F" on the other.

Back from the dead. This is what you use for an ignition key on ex-MOD trucks. The original key had a nice big handle, like this.

All of the replacement blanks are narrow and it makes it a pain to use on the ignition. Has anyone found a supplier that has the original key blanks?
