early 110 vs NAS 90 front driveshaft difference?

Hey guys I'm having a clearance issue with my tranny on this LS swap and the rear flange of the front driveshaft. are there any differences in the size of the shafts/flanges etc?.

Not sure on the flanges but I know that they changed the driveshaft on the later trucks to a solid shaft in the front to give more clearance around the cats.

Early trucks use 1310 u-joints which are larger than the normal 1300 joints. The flanges are the se but the joints are larger.

Maybe see if anyone local has a later NAS 90 or disco front driveshaft to see if the smaller 1300 u-joint yokes will clear. The 1310 joints are .28" bigger across than the 1300's fwiw..

disco 1 shafts are what I use. Solid = superior to the 90 shaft

pulled the front driveshaft last night… tried to move the truck this morning and the front transfer case flange spins but the truck won't move. difflock doesnt seem to be engaging even though the selector shaft is turned all the way clockwise.

This transfer case is out of a 98 disco… i removed the lock out solenoid.. Is there some other electrical solenoid/issue i need to address to engage difflock on this thing?!

Plus the warning light is very helpful as driving around with diff lock on dry pavement will break something.
