I'm using these on my 315/75/16 KM2's. The one container was enough to do all 5 tires. So far so good. Though I had them installed when the tires were mounted, don't think you can put them in after the fact.

I have had Equal before and they made it difficult to air down quickly; seems they would stick to the valve when removing air. I have been running BB's for the last three years on 35's and they work great although you can hear them sloshing around in there when moving slow. I got tired of knocking off external tire weights............

Doug if you are not happy with the beads take the tire to somebody that has a "Road Force balancer". This balancer usually will do the trick and you can find a place that gives a lifetime warranty.

Mike that was a post from 2010. I ran dynabeads in some 285/75 km2's I had on wolf wheels back then.
My brother has run equal. Dyna beads require special schrader valves, but if you get those no issues airing down. Cabell tried equal without getting special valves and yes they instantly clog up with equal. I got 3 pounds of dyna beads from Dan Chapman and ran them for a couple of years. I never really liked them as much as weights but you could feel the tire "balance" @ a certain rpm. Kinda cool.
My Harley fatboy had dynabeads in the tires new from the dealership.

Robert are you now able to go back to work after our last drinking escapade ?

I tried the special valves that came w/ Equal and they would not air down "equally". BB's work great and no air down issues...........

Doug,
Back in the day I use to Manage a tire shop and specialized in balancing the high end high performance cars in Dallas. Nobody knows how to do it today. If you match the high point of the tire with the high point of the rim you will never get it balanced. I had guys complaining that they were getting a vibration at 140. At any rate they now make a "Road Force" force balancer that mimics the tire contacting the road. A much better balancer.

No experience with equal but I use dynabeads on the ambulance/camper. Worked great for the last set of BFG Mt's. Tires are almost completely worn but zero problems. No strange wear at all and no vibes.
That included a lengthy trip to South America and lots of trips to Baja. I'd use them again for sure.
