Drive flange bolt

One of my rear drive flange bolts seems to have cracked. the head is gone and I am left with the body of the bolt still threaded in there. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

Help!

If just the head is gone, remove the rest of the bolts and flange, it may be sticking out enough to grab.
If it is stuck in the hub... drill and tap.

On the t-case end or the diff end? On the T-case end you need to pull the flange to replace the bolt as there is a big C-clip behind the bolts. On the diff end, just take the bolt out and replace it as it is not threaded into the flange or anything like that.

If you are talking about the one in the hub, then good luck getting it out. I ended up just buying a new hub as they are hardened steel and very tough to drill out.

If you are talking about the hub, I removed a hub, drilled out the broken stud on the drill press and had to tap and helicoil it for a repair.

I am talking about the hub...sounds like I am going to be having some fun this weekend.

I am not sure I am capable of doing this. Will see.

Just buy a used disco I or ABS RRC hub from one of the used parts retailers. You might be able to get it out ok on your own, but I have not had much luck.
