Drilling out rivets

I've looked but can't seem to find it, what size drill bit do I need to use to drill out the rivets on my corner trim?

Thanks,
Alex

Do you have replacement rivets? match up the bit to the new rivets. Go slightly smaller

Probably should have thought of that based on the rivet size. It's been one of those days, weeks really.

I use one size smaller to avoid enlarging the holes, but either works.

And use pliars on the drilled out heads and reverse the drill to spin them off the bit. Be careful of loose bits of aluminium as they will scratch the paint.

They are all out, just need to finish the paint on the new trim and then we are as good as new as it's going to get for this project.
