Door strap

I have an ex-mod with two part doors. I've been trying to figure out how to keep the doors open when parked on a slope or in any light breeze.

There are two openings above where the strap glides so if I'm working on the car I jam a small screwdriver in there.

Is there a better (factory) alternative?

Far as I know there is nothing factory. Saw in one of the magazines an item that kind of works like the rods on old screen doors. I know theres also an item sold for the rear station wagon doors as well.

Replace the hinges with cheap britparts ones.. Wait for them to rust and voilà! Mine keeps the door open even on slopes. I figured out that the wipers arms are held in place that way. Kinda factory item!

Maybe a couple of short plastic rivets placed in the two holes above the strap on the door could work like a ratchet... Something to test in the holidays!
