Door Snaps

I just got a 94 Blue defender. Did all of them have snaps on the doors? Mine doesn't.

Every 1994 ive seen had the snaps. Maybe the doors where replaced. Not uncommon for the rust prone doors.
It looks like you have the 95/97 Best Top as well . So someone added the belt rail system.

Nice Truck.......

thanks

I just wonder because the car is beyond mint. Not a drop of rust underneath. So why would the doors be replaced and and nothing else?

If your truck is a late 94 its conceivable that it got a 95 top. Some late 94's have the 95 r380 transmission and changes seemed to be more "as the parts ran out" than strictly by model year. Then again, with a super-mint truck, its also possible that a well-moneyed owner did a 95 belt rail conversion very thoroughly and had the snaps removed from the door.
