Hey Daniel ... Did we meet at Ricardos place? Just want to keep on your good side!

Also Cristina did you try Google / LinkedIn / Facebook or can we assume that a crime so heinous has been committed that he was using an alias?

He is from NY state

This guy asked me for a series heater. I said I had one, that he could send me payment once I emailed him pictures if it was what he needed. I had no time to take pictures and he kept emailing me for the damn thing. So we agreed that I would send him the heater and he would send me payment if he would like to keep it. Well he tried the heater and apparently its not the right one for his truck. So he emailed me saying he was returning the heater. Well its been over a month and no heater or emails( I did email him for an update). He just dissapeared. So this post was just a warning to keep on your toes. It was my mistake to try to help someone who was freezer their ass in upstate NY. But I already learned my lesson, just do not want someone else to have to go through this too.

I am hoping he will see the post and email me saying he totally forgot about it, but then again I was the stupid person who send it to him. Furthermore I just hate people that do not keep their end of the bargain.

And I do have his address but did not want to post it.

Cristina

I had a similar experience with someone who used to be quite active on this board and was a good contributor. Lost over $1,000 for parts that never came and then he "disappeared". I say this so others remember that no matter what, you should be careful and do whatever you can to protect yourself.

Once it's gone......it's gone!!!

Yeah, it's hard to tell. That guy on here who offered to bring over stuff from UK as free shipping in his container might be one of the nicest people, or end up having everyone ship new front seats, etc. to his house and keep it! You never know...

A zip code would help. Someone might be passing by and could arrange a pickup/dropoff.
I go often up near Binghamton for example. Others are doing likewise but further north. You might just have some guy who has it sitting in his garage and can't get off his ass to go down to the post office. Of course he could also just call you on the phone and explain all this. If I can help, I will.
